The people we help are nominated by registered charities or organisations. Anyone who learns of the existence of Give Them A Sporting Chance can, through a charity or organisation, propose either an individual or a group. The criteria for selection of participants include:
The needs of the recipient
The severity and extent of the disability
The nature of their sporting or recreational dream
We aim to help wherever we can, regardless of age or disablity. To date, our recipients have ranged in age from 4 to 80 and we have maintained broadly equal gender representation.
